It’s no surprise that Jordan was later chosen for the first trial picked by a public vote after he was filmed throwing up before the first challenge of the show.
The 30-year-old broadcaster told cameras at the top of the cliff: “I can’t believe I was sick, I’ve only been here five minutes and I’m puking up already.”

Hide AdNorth East presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly kicked off the first show of the new series, which is taking place at Gwrych Castle in Wales rather than the usual location in the Australian jungle due to coronavirus restrictions, on Sunday, November 15.
The first episode saw the group completing an abseiling challenge in order to get rucksacks containing kit.
The stars were split into two groups as they were introduced to each other – with presenter Vernon Kay, actress Jessica Plummer, Jordan, podcast host Giovanna Fletcher and journalist Victoria Derbyshire being taken to the top of a rockface.
Actor Shane Richie, actress Beverley Callard, dancer AJ Pritchard, Sir Mo and Paralympian Hollie Arnold were dropped off at the bottom.

The rucksacks were padlocked to the cliff, and in order to free the bags the celebrities had to answer numerical-based questions about their fellow campmates.
And Jordan’s stomach couldn’t take it any longer after he realised he’d be facing his fear of heights.
It didn’t stop him from taking on the challenge and he was last to abseil to the nine celebrities at the bottom of the cliff.
