Luckily the illness was only in its early stages and she didn’t have to undergo any further treatment.

She has used all her savings to open her own wax melt shop in Hartlepool’s Murray Street after starting out by working from her kitchen back in February this year.
For The Love of Wax is located in the premises of the former Little Green Shop and offers homemade wax melts prepared by Hannah herself.
Sixty different scents are already available.
Hannah has said she always dreamt of having a wax shop and although the official opening last weekend couldn’t be attended by many people because of Covid restrictions, she said: "It’s been a whirlwind, it’s been absolutely amazing.
"Online sales have been really good as well.“

She said: "I just hope we become part of the community.
"Eventually, I want to support local apprenticeships. Supporting local businesses is a big thing to me.
"It’s just trying to bring a bit more life back into local shops.”
But Hannah, who is originally from Wigan, also wants to urge people to get checked out for cancer if they feel something could be wrong.

"Cancer is a killer too, so people do need not to turn a blind eye to it.
"It is a bad thing but I just want people to know the NHS are there. If you you do have it, get checked out.”
For the Love of Wax is open Mondays–Saturdays from 9am-5pm.
