As restrictions are eased and the official ‘stay at home’ message ends, we take a look at the areas which have the highest Covid rates.
In just under three months since the third lockdown was imposed Covid cases have slowly dropped.
In the seven days up to January 5, 1,529 Covid cases were confirmed in the local authority compared to 206 in the seven days up to March 23.
The case rate takes into account the number of people living in each area compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus and are measured by 100,000 people.
