Impeccable Pig in Sedgefield prepares to reopen with NHS offer to say thank you
After Prime Minister Boris Johnson gave the green light for hotels, bars and restaurants to reopen, The Impeccable Pig in Sedgefield will welcomes its first guests in three months on Saturday, July 4.
A newsletter sent to customers reads: “Since temporarily closing our doors back in March, we have been working hard on our beautiful hotel and restaurant; adapting our procedures and putting measures in place to ensure that we can safely welcome back both our team and our guests.

Hide Ad“As the most important thing to us is the health and well being of our guests and staff, we have introduced a number of new policies and procedures, including sanitisation and social distancing measures, amongst others, to ensure everyone feels safe, yet comfortable, whilst still delivering our impeccable standard of service to our guest.”
The online reservation systems for both hotel and restaurant will be open from July 4, with phone lines open now. The hotel will be open for reservations as usual, however, restaurant opening hours will be: Monday-Thursday: 5pm-9pm only; Friday and Saturday: 12pm-9.30pm; Sunday: 12pm-6pm.
As part of the reopening, NHS staff are being offered 25percent off accommodation when booking directly with the hotel. The offer can only be redeemed via telephone booking. A valid NHS badge must be provided upon check in for discount to be applied and limited numbers apply.
