Chris Coleman discusses his uncertain Sunderland future after club's relegation to League One
Two late Burton Albion goals condemned the Black Cats to the drop and that means that they will play their football in the third tier for only the second time in their history.
Coleman apologised to supporters after the game and said that he can't make concrete plans for the future while Ellis Short's position is unclear.

"So it is still the same changes that needed to be made. Who is that going to be? Me? Someone else? I really don’t know. We still don’t know who the owner of the club will be."
Coleman admitted that his side had come up well short against Burton Albion, who themselves could climb out of the relegation spots next week should they beat Bolton Wanderers.
He said: "I think the disappointment today is that it was the worst we had played in six games, though I understand the pressure of it.

"The feeling after was of giving up three points. I experienced relegation as a player, never as a manager, it is pretty brutal.
"Managers, players come and go, but supporters will be here forever. I can only imagine what they’re going through."
