David Ryan Trott, 33, is also accused of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in a racially-aggravated manner to a third police officer and with causing £770 of criminal damage to a car’s bonnet and windscreen.
All five charges relate to incidents said to have taken place on Saturday, January 4, of last year.

Hide AdTrott, whose address was listed in court as Freesia Gardens, in Sunderland, is also accused of failing to comply with a community order on August 27, 2019.
He did not enter pleas when he appeared via video link before Sunderland Magistrates’ Court this week.
Trott was granted unconditional bail to appear before a judge on Monday, March 8, after magistrates declined jurisdiction over the 2020 case and transferred it to Newcastle Crown Court.
