Two Sunderland men to appear in court following ram raid crime spree across city
and live on Freeview channel 276
Louis Johnson, of Marley Crescent, and Michael Pemberton, of Edward Burdis Street, will both appear at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court this morning (March 11) charged with conspiracy to commit theft.
It follows two incidents in the city in the early hours of Tuesday morning (March 9) where officers were called to a break-in at the Harbour View service station on Dame Dorothy Street, in Roker, where a car had been driven into the shutters in an attempt to gain entry.

Hide AdPolice then received a second call to a similar incident at the One Stop shop on Blind Lane, Silksworth – with pictures showing the scale of the damage to the front of the convenience store.
Two men were arrested by officers and Johnson, aged 30, and Pemberton, aged 37, will make their first court appearance later today (March 11).
