Girl, 14, injured in Sunderland hit-and-run
Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver who knocked over and injured a teenage girl in Sunderland.
The incident happened at about 9.40pm on Saturday, July 9, on Borough Road outside Riverview Health Centre in the city centre.
The 14-year-old received hospital treatment for her injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.

Hide AdThe driver of the vehicle - thought to be a black 4x4 style vehicle - drove off after hitting the girl and did not stop at the scene.
Officers are carrying out enquiries and appealing for witnesses to trace the driver.
