Shado Hasso, who owns two Kurdish barber shops with his brother Basil Hasso, is offering free haircuts to people of all ages who have a disability.
Before the pandemic, the 29-year-old had been heading to care homes to offer free haircuts but due to restrictions he’s still unable to make the visits.

Shado said he has been offering the service to people who have disabilities which prevent them from working and earning an income for the past four years.
But he’s been overwhelmed by the response to his kind gesture after he took to social media to remind the local community.
"It’s a way for us to be able to give back to the community," said Shado.

"I used to go into care homes and cut their hair but we still can’t do that at the moment. It’s for people of all ages, with all disabilities and they can come in at any time, they don’t have to book.
"We want as many people to know so that more people can benefit from it.”
One resident praised the barber shops on social media for their efforts, she said: “What a fantastic thing to do. Good on you!”
