Sunderland star Fabio Borini's message to Olympic-bound Aly Dixon
Dixon looks set to be named in the Great Britain team for the Olympics in Rio later this year after finishing as the first female Briton in yesterday’s London Marathon.
She was inundated with messages from fans and followers, including a tweet by Sunderland hotshot Borini.

Dixon replied: “Thank you! Still waiting for confirmation, but yes, looks like I’m on my way to Rio!! Dream come true #daretodream”
The pair have a history after Dixon copied Borini’s famous celebration when crossing the Great North Run finishing line in fourth place last year.
The 36-year-old Sunderland Stroller mimicked the Italian’s celebration of his hand in his mouth and arm outstretched.
Dixon finished 13th yesterday, just ahead of former Wallsend Harrier Sonia Samuels, with both expected to be selected for the GB squad.
