“Whenever you are asked to do something, especially if it involves making kids happy in the community, it’s one of the things you always appreciate.
“It’s always nice to see the happy faces and the reception you get is very nice.
“You know what the club means to the community.
“We are normal people, just like everyone else.”
Larsson, who spoke some Swedish in front of staff and pupils at St Anthony’s, added that he remembers meeting famous Premier League footballers when he was a youngster himself.

“You just remember something like that and what it means.
“It’s just nice that you are able to make people happy.”
Larsson is currently out of action after suffering a medial ligament injury, for which he underwent an operation in August.
“I’m in the middle of doing a lot of re-hab work which is good,” said the former Arsenal man.
“But you are itching to get back out on the pitch.
“It’s nice to be able to come and do different things, it makes you happy that people here are pleased to see you.
“It gives you that little boost to get back even quicker.”
