Super heroes make Wearside youngsters day
Debbie Hayes and Mark Shields, of award-winning Make My Day Events (MMD), received a donation to put on a show for additional needs charities in the Sunderland area.
Having worked in the past with Hope 4 Kidz and The Charlie Cookson Foundation, children from these charities were invited to a Frozen and Superhero inspired show.

Hide AdFace-painters Lil Miz Make Up and Flamingo were on hand to add to the fun and award-winning ice-cream parlour Licketey Split provided treats for all of the guests. The venue and buffet was provided, thanks to The Point in Sunderland.
The venue dressing was supplied by Beckwith Events and Sunderland-based photographer Lee Smith, from Shutter-chip Photography, captured the magic of the day.
Viv Watts, chief executive of Hope 4 Kidz, said: “Hope 4 Kidz is very grateful to Debbie and Mark, of MMD, for choosing to invite our children and their families to such an amazing party.
“The children had a marvellous afternoon singing and interacting with the cast from Make My Day Events.

“All of the character were ‘real’ to the children who were often awe struck.
“The children have some wonderful memories to share with their friends.”
Make My Day Events are winners of the Echo Portfolio awards for Best regional Children’s entertainer 2015.
