'˜They're not playgrounds': Warning after suspected arson attack on derelict building in Sunderland
Firefighters from Marley Potts were called to North Hylton Business Park in Southwick after smoke could be seen coming from North Hylton Business Centre.
The alarm was raised by police at 9.30pm, yesterday.
A fire, believed to have been started maliciously, was discovered in the smoke-logged building in one of the offices.
Damage was caused to the office.

Hide AdCrew Manager Steve Howe, said: "Derelicts buildings are not playgrounds and entering them illegally could end up costing a person their life."
A search of the building for anyone trapped was carried out by firefighters as a precaution but no one was found.
