Thompson enjoys night of double delight
Firstly, Thompson made light work of Jaxon Douglass, easing to a 5-0 win, with winning legs of 15, 17 and 19 darts, including a great finish of 114.
Thompson then defeated Colin Seaman 5-1, with best legs of 20 and 21 darts.

Hide AdBaz Walker eased past Kev Long, winning 5-0 in legs of 18, 19, 20 and 21 darts.
Glen Woodbridge had a good 5-2 win over Mike McBain.
After two defeats, Marco Laybourn got back to winning ways when he edged out Andy Clark 5-2, with both players’ best leg a 20-darter.
Steve Carr played out a draw with Jaxon Douglass.
Carr’s best leg was a 20-darter, with a 180, while Douglass enjoyed a 19-dart leg of his own, including a 103 checkout.
Pete Wilson fought off Lee Rump to win 5-3 and Mike McBain defeated Darren Johnston 5-1.
Steve Richardson came from 3-1 down to beat Don Green 5-3.
Micky Seaman beat Norman Place 5-1 and Denny Cullen defeated Colin Seaman 5-1.
Lee Rump bounced back form an earlier defeat to see off Darren Johnston 5-0 with ease.
