Ward boxing brothers out to conquer Britain & Europe but Tommy must beat Robbie Turley first
The Hartlepool-trained star faces Wales fighter Robbie Turley at Houghton on Saturday in a British super-bantamweight title eliminator.
Victory would earn the 21-year-old a tilt at the domestic king James “Jazza” Dickens.

Few brothers campaign in the same division with the very notable exception of the Klitshkos, Wladimir and Vitali, holding world titles at heavyweight for a number of years.

“Hopefully by the end of this year, or the start of 2017, the Ward brothers will be British and European super-bantamweight champions.
“That would be a dream come true.”
Tommy needs to win his England v Wales battle first and he anticipates an “awkward” night at the Rainton Meadows Arena.
Turley is eight years Ward’s senior though the rivals are on the same number of wins – 16 apiece.

“If he’s moving about it’s going to be a thinking match on my part.
“I’m looking forward to that and I’m very switched on and very confident.”
