Back in from the cold? What Sunderland fans are saying about Aiden McGeady after his revealing interview
and live on Freeview channel 276
The 34-year-old hasn’t featured for the Black Cats since late last year and looks unlikely to be handed an opportunity under Phil Parkinson, who was willing to allow McGeady to leave during the summer transfer window.
But a combination of Sunderland’s frustrating draw at Rochdale and McGeady coming out to defend comments made about his approach behind the scenes has seen calls grow for the former Celtic man to be handed another chance.

So what have people been saying on social media?
On Facebook, Len Adams said; “Well, like him or loathe him, he has more creativity in his game than any of the others who have played this season.”
But Tom Shoulder argued: “We need to go forward not backward why not get Clattermole back while we are on”
David Jackson added: “Definitely like to see him play. Problem is we know nothing whatsoever about previous problems. Can't understand that a game changer like mc Geady is sitting doing nothing whilst we aren't winning”
